A young girl with a special gift struggles to overcome a mob boss' influence over her family in this dark Dust Bowl fantasy, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid." The film centers on a man who has superpowers only one day a year. Laura Wagner has a promising career as a young auctioneer, but her life looks set to fall apart when she's the victim of a rape. The rapist is a well-known and respected gallery owner, and the assault takes place after a cocktail party. Laura knows it's unlikely she'll be believed if she files a complaint. But that same night the gallery owner's wife is murdered at home, and the husband is a suspect. His alibi is that he was raping Laura. When the police ask Laura to confirm the alibi, she realizes she can take her revenge by letting her rapist be convicted of murder 在(zà(❌)i )父(🦎)亲去世(⚾)后，亚伦回到家(🎣)中(🎓)(zhōng )帮(bā(😏)ng )助他悲痛欲绝(jué(🕰) )的母亲(🚍)，并直(zhí )面他的过(📥)去，而在(🍟)处理后事(shì )的过(🔩)程中，他(🚧)(tā )发现了一个神(🚄)(shén )秘(mì(👐) )的骨灰龛，而(ér )这(🚳)背后还(🛁)隐藏(cáng )着更加可怕的(de )东(🎪)西..... 20世纪福克(kè )斯最近买(🤣)下了(le )Alma Katsu下(🎏)部小说《饥(jī )饿》（(📃)The Hunger）的电(🍏)(diàn )影(yǐng )版权，这部(🗨)(bù )小(xiǎ(🔛)o )说以《行尸走(zǒu )肉(🦎)》的风格(🐰)叙(xù )述了北美(💔)历(➡)史(shǐ )上(🌠)最恐怖的一(yī(🔌) )段(🐬)“食人”历(🏎)(lì )史。
